Happy summer!
July’s newsletter kicks off some fun things. Arbor Vitae Wellness is now a member of the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce. There is a minor location update to the Vision Quest in September. I would like to give a special SHOUT OUT to the one and only Mr. Clayton Gallagher, photographer extraordinaire, for doing a photo shoot for AVW in the new Yarmouth location! Thanks Clayton. And last but not least, a very special welcome to the newest member of the Arbor Vitae family - Thumper the dog! You may see him around the Yarmouth studio during sessions : )

AVW joins the YCC!
Now fully settled into Yarmouth, things are feeling great. It is such a nice space, the environment is great, and the river joins the sea. Awesome.
And now Arbor Vitae Wellness has joined the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce (YCC)! It is a nice way to join the local community, give back, network and collaborate.

Thumper the dog
Arbor Vitae has a new family member. Meet Thumper, my beautiful pup! He is a four-month old Newfoundland/Labrador Retriever mix. He is a great dog – well socialized, knows commands, is friendly with people, curious, and as one might guess, LOVES the water. He also loves naps! He has been spending time in the studio during sessions, sleeping on the floor and not interrupting anything. The healing power of canines has arrived! He also loves tummy rubs - when you arrive you are welcome to pet him and say hello!
*** If you have any questions, concerns, or request that Thumper not be present during your session, please contact me and we can make arrangements. Thank you. He has been proving himself in the space so far with flying colors!
Vision Quest - Update
The Vision Quest will be held in FREEDOM, Maine this year instead of Augusta.
The Vision Quest is a time of silent reflection, of looking inward toward what truly matters most in yourself. It is a time of crying up and letting go. This core of the Vision Quest is a solo-experience of four days and nights alone in the solitude of nature. The full program lasts eight days. Time is spent before the Quest preparing you for your time questing and afterwards you will be given tools to help you integrate your experience back into your life. No prior camping experience is required.
Location: Freedom, ME
Dates: Sept. 9-16, 2023
Suggested donation: $625*
*Please note the program cost is a suggested donation to cover logistical expenses and is NOT for the ceremony, teachings and experience of the Quest itself. If money is an issue for you but you feel strongly called to this experience, please contact us.
